To ensure your safety and achieve the best possible results, please read the following information before your treatment. Before Your Appointment Please inform your therapist if you: * Have sensitive skin, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, sunburn, cuts or broken skin in the treatment area. * Have previously had an allergic reaction to wax or skincare products. * Have had a chemical peel, laser treatment or microdermabrasion within the last 2 weeks. * Are using Retinol, Retin-A, Tretinoin, Accutane (Roaccutane), or other skin-thinning medication. * Have had Botox or dermal fillers within the last 2 weeks. * Are pregnant or breastfeeding. Royal Nails & Beauty reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is considered unsafe to proceed. ⸻ During & After Treatment * Mild redness, warmth, slight sensitivity or minor irritation after waxing is a normal reaction and usually settles within a few hours. * For sensitive skin, these symptoms may last up to 24 hours. * If you experience excessive swelling, blistering or signs of an allergic reaction, please seek medical advice and inform us as soon as possible. ⸻ Aftercare For the next 24–48 hours, please avoid: * Touching or rubbing the treated area. * Hot baths, saunas, steam rooms or swimming. * Heavy exercise or excessive sweating. * Direct sunlight or sunbeds. * Applying makeup (where possible) or active skincare products, including Retinol, AHAs, BHAs and exfoliants, to the treated area. ⸻ Booking Confirmation By booking an appointment with Royal Nails & Beauty, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to this Facial Waxing Policy.
